In another anniversary the 35th Youth Jazz Competition opens its doors to some of the country's most talented young musicians. For many audience members the sessions of this competition are the most rewarding, surprising, moving and inspiring moments in the Festival. And it is no surprise that young talents seen leaving Tauranga as winners included Nathan Haines, Hollie Smith and Charmaine Ford.
More than 200 young musicians will compete in Big Bands and Combos in a variety of categories for trophies and glory.
