Tauranga Jazz Society

Behind the Jazz Festival, dating back to the 1960s, there has always been a keen group of musicians and jazz fans in Tauranga, who put together the festival each year. With the hiring of a professional Festival Director in 2009, volunteer time was reduced and attention was given to the formation of a monthly Jazz Club.

The Jazz Club meets on the second Sunday each month from 5-8pm in the winter and 6-9pm during daylight savings. We meet at the RSA, 1237 Cameron Rd. in Greerton.

Entry fee is $10 for Jazz Society members or $15 for visitors.

We have a reciprocal admission agreement with other Jazz Clubs in NZ.

Upcoming gigs:

3's Company
